Elementary music with Ms. Wichmann is about developing and exploring creativity and artistic expression in a fun-filled setting that fosters collaboration, critical thinking skills, and social emotional learning.  During weekly music classes, students explore singing, instrument playing, note and rhythm-reading, composition, movement, dance, and music appreciation. Throughout the school year, all students play and perform a wide range of musical genres and instruments, as well as engaging in in-depth study of musical styles from around the world.  (Upper grade students even dive into music composition!)  Music with Ms. Wichmann is focused on providing all students a place to explore their creativity in a challenging, fun, and supportive learning environment.
